Silent Screams Final Poster

Below is my final poster design. With additional feedback after working on poster number 1 from my last post, I made the credit block smaller within the frame because it was too wide making it too close to the edge of the page. I also changed the colour of the date to black so that it contrasts against the white top. To make the credit block text easier to read I blurred out the bottom of the photo using Adobe Fireworks.

Silent Screams Film Poster Trials

For my film poster I trialled a range of variations. I had ideas of erasing Chelsie's mouth to resemble the silent scream title of the film, or of her screaming, and then to try by combining the two together by overlaying the images and experimenting with the opacity.

From audience feedback, most commented on how they like the idea of the overlaid images however the one that was most popular among them as their favourite was number 1 shown below of Chelsie screaming with a very faint overlay of Chelsie's face with no mouth.
